The following cases have been scheduled before Judge Jane Morrison for a Jury/Non-Jury Trial Calendar Avenue, SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. This calendar shall run through November 7th, 2022. Cases may not be called in the order in which they are published. Continuances will be for legal cause only and can only be granted by the Court. All parties and counsel must appear in person for a calendar call on Monday, October 10th, 2022 at to confirm announcements and schedule trials. All trials shall take place in person, thus any parties or lawyers participating in a trial must appear in person for all trial and pre-trial proceedings including motions, and jury selection. All Witnesses must be available on a two hour notice. Juror qualification and general Voir Dire questioning may be conducted by the Court. Requested Voir Dire questions and a list of anticipated witnesses are to be submitted in writing, filed into the record, and are due on or before Friday October 7th, 2022. All counsel and parties must be ready for trial and prepared to be called in for trial on two hour notice. It is the responsibility of all counsel and pro se defendants to remain in contact with and available to the Court's staff throughout this trial calendar. You must actively maintain and monitor telephone and/or e-mail communications regarding your calendar status. Failure to appear when called in may result in issuance of an arrest warrant, bond forfeiture, and/or contempt penalties. Any final pleas must be announced and any plea paperwork must be completed and submitted two business days in advance of the calendar call.
