The following calendar is for the one-week period beginning Monday, June 5, 2023. Cases may not be heard in the order in which they are published. All conflicts must be in writing and submitted in advance of the calendar date. Continuances will be for legal cause only and can only be granted by the Court. With regard to civil jury trials, Plaintiff's attorney MUST contact all opposing counsel or pro se parties and report the expected length of trial to Trinity Townsend, staff attorney, by email at [email protected] copying counsel for all parties or by phone at 404.613.4512 no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023. A consolidated pretrial order MUST BE FILED no later than Monday, May 29, 2023, unless otherwise instructed by the Court. If there are any motions in limine to be filed, you must also submit those along with the pretrial order. Attorneys must notify the staff attorney three business days prior to court date if a Court Reporter is needed. Attorneys should email proposed jury charges no later than Friday, June 2, 2023.  Counsel will be notified individually when to appear for trial and all cases will be on two 2 hour notice. There will not be a calendar call. Parties and counsel in each case must be ready for trial, as cases will not necessarily be called in the order in which they appear on the calendar. Previously filed leaves of absence will be honored. Counsel who have withdrawn or represent parties who have been dismissed were served with this notice because they did not use the party management tools to remove their names from the State Court's filing service service list.
