The following cases are scheduled for this Court's February 9, 2023, No Service/Scire Facias Calendar. There will be a No Service/Scire Facias calendar call on February 9, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom before the Honorable Patsy Y. Porter. The Zoom Hearing information will be sent in a subsequent email or e-filed. Attorneys appearing must be the attorneys trying the case or another attorney of record authorized to define the issues and enter into stipulations. If this case appears on this calendar for No Service, the Plaintiff is hereby placed on notice that a failure to serve the Defendants with process prior to the call of the calendar may result in the action being dismissed without prejudice. If service of process has not been effected prior to the call of the calendar, the Plaintiff must be prepared to factually demonstrate at the status hearing due diligence in attempting service on the Defendants. Should the Court find that the Plaintiff has not adequately demonstrated due diligence in attempting to serve the Defendants, the case may be dismissed for want of prosecution. If this case appears on this calendar for Scire Facias, movants are required to obtain personal service as to these matters and no continuances will be granted for the failure to obtain service except upon good cause. Failure to appear at the calendar will result in dismissal of the action for want of prosecution.
