This 13-week trial calendar begins on Monday, October 2, 2017. Cases will be specially set, but may also be placed on call if there are calendar changes. There will be no resets. If you have not submitted a Joint Trial Summary by September 15, 2017, counsel and parties must appear for the calendar call at 9:30 a.m. Failure to appear may result in a dismissal of the case. If a jury is demanded, a Consolidated Pretrial Order, motions in limine, voir dire questions, and jury charges must be submitted to chambers one week prior to trial. If the trial length announcement is longer than one 1 day, a Consolidated Pretrial Order must be submitted to chambers one 1 week prior to the trial, which shall include a marital balance sheet listing debts and assets, along with each side's proposal for division. If the trial length announcement is longer than 1 days, parties must participate in Late Case Evaluation or a Judicially Hosted Settlement Conference. Parties must mediate prior to trial. If a case is announced as settled, the parties must take a final or submit a Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings with an affidavit five 5 days prior to trial.
